Larry Walker is a Canadian former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues for 17 seasons. He was born on December 1, 1966, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. He had a remarkable career, and his story is an inspiration to many.

Larry grew up playing hockey, but he also loved playing baseball. He was a talented athlete and was drafted by the Montreal Expos in 1984. He spent a few years in the minor leagues, working hard to improve his game. He made his Major League debut with the Expos in 1989.

Larry was known for his incredible talent as an outfielder. He could make unbelievable catches and throw the ball with incredible accuracy. He was also a powerful hitter, and he quickly became one of the most feared batters in the league. In 1992, he won his first Gold Glove award for his outstanding defensive play.

Larry's career took off in 1997 when he signed with the Colorado Rockies. He had the best season of his career that year, hitting .366 with 49 home runs and 130 RBIs. He also won his first National League MVP award, becoming the first Canadian-born player to do so.
